Fansproject Quake
Fansproject Quake is an additional mini figure which came with the recent Crossfire 02 Reissue. I originally thought this little guy would be a hollow snap kit style figure so was pleasantly surprised when I opened it to find him held together by pins and screws along with a decent bit of weight for his size.
Articulation wise he is very good, capable of a lot more poses than some larger figures and easy to move, transformation wise its very simple, the legs rotate and clip together, each arms swing forward on a hinge into place then you attach the separate gun handle creating the space magnum.
It looks really nice when its in the hands of the combined Bruticus figure so does its job well, it would have been nice though if the barrel section turned sideways on to give a more classic Shockwave appearance.
Kapow Toys Reviews X-Transbots Glider
I love Powerglide, not necessarily the toy but the grumpy guy from the 80's cartoon with ''The Girl Who Loved Powerglide'' being one of my fave episodes of all time ( go on, rib me for it ) so this figure interested me greatly. The Universe / Classics version didn't do it for me with the original being too big and slightly rubbish so I've been looking for something to fill the gap, for £30 this does the job and does it quite well.
Feeling far more solid than i imagined in hand the first thing you notice is the thickness of the plastic, compared to recent mainstream releases of the same size this guy feels solid and weighty, the plane mode also holds together well, again far better than I expected. Upon transforming you are met with a middle of the road process, you pull the wings outward and along with the tail fins they split off from the main body on hinges then fold upwards, the lower legs are quite nifty so I won't ruin it for anyone with a description. Nice touches include being able to store his gun in the chest cavity whilst in plane mode and a raised heart imprinted inside the same cavity for when he is in robot mode.
Whilst a robot Powerglide once again fits together far tighter than I expected, he's not perfect but good enough for me, he has some nice articulation in the arms with shoulder and elbow swivels, his ankles also have ball joints allowing some good poses, I would have liked some more movement in the hip joint which is hindered in its outward movement but I'm guessing this is so he stays together in jet mode. As you can see from the images he is well balanced, enough so that he can stand on one leg unaided, weapon wise he comes with his main animation style pistol along with a large pistol and a knife. Due to the design of the hands only the animation style pistol and knife are a good fit, the large pistol tends to slip out but its a minor gripe when you have the choice of 3 weapons and easily remedied with a touch of clear nail polish.
Overall this exceeded my expectations which were not high and has turned out to be one of the most fun figures I've played with this month, its not perfect but will fill that Powerglide sized gap in your collection without a problem and is probably the best rendition of the character currently available.
Kommt mir das nur so vor oder basiert der Gute lose auf dem 6inch Titanium The Fallen?

Beast Hunters Voyager Ultra Magnus
A strange one this chap, when I first saw the photo's I thought it looked like a pointless clunky mess and had about as much excitement for it as picking up a cold but.............when it arrived in the warehouse and I picked him out of the packing crate our love affair began
I was wrong, I viewed him as just another repaint and its genuinely not the case, this mold really works at Magnus, more so than the actual Prime Magnus mold which came off as a little bit hollow and simple. First off this version comes with a big old hammer, that's pure win in itself but along with that you also get a detachable rocket pack, 2 missiles and pivoting launchers which double up as shoulders to make Arnie jealous so all in all a nice little package.
Most fans will own the Optimus so I won't go into it too much but suffice to say he has a good level of articulation, it still suffers from slightly loose hip joints which can slide under the weight of the rocket pack if posed slightly off but its not something which has detracted from my enjoyment. The toy does evoke an Animated Wing Blade Optimus Prime feel and I for one prefer it, the rocket pack snaps in place nice and firm during either mode and is not prone to popping off like my Jet Blade does, the hammer also fits very securely in both modes and the missiles have multiple points of storage overall giving massive amounts of play value for big and little kids alike.
Truck mode has one obvious difference in that the smokestacks are absent, this is so the rocket pack can attach flush in robot mode and I didn't notice their absence until about an hour after I unpacked him. The accessories fit nice and snug on the back of the truck actually snapping into place rather than loosely pushing or balancing so your free to race him round your desk or go that one step further and pretend he is a flying truck.......................I honestly have not this.....................honest.
Overall I unexpectedly score Ultra Magnus Mark II a strong 8.5 / 10 Hammer time indeed!
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Transformers Generations Voyager Blitzwing.
Kapow Toys Reviews Transformers Generations Blitzwing
Having watched and read some reviews on this guy from the last few days I've got to be honest I was dreading this morning and fully expected the devil in plastic so I'm happy to report I was pleasantly surprised. Right off the bat yes the shoulders are annoying, the left one seems to be the fave that does not peg in when in robot mode and it does mean the shoulders can roll when moving the arms, is it a deal breaker ? no, its just annoying, nothing more nothing less and was improved with a quick dab and dry of super glue. Blitzwing is a lot more complex than Springer, you can see the sheer amount of work which has gone into getting a robot to switch between robot, tank and jet, its a lot and it can't be ignored, sure he is far from perfect but whoever designed this guy must have cared about the character and for me they have done a good job.
In robot mode he looks like a Blitzwing should do, bulkier than his counterpart Springer and standing a little taller giving that feeling of imposing foe rather than easy opponent. The sword is a faithful update of the original whilst the gun comes off as a little weak, its quite tiny and sits rather awkwardly in his fist due to clearance issues it is however a good fit for a tank machine gun so maybe they were trying to strike a balance for both modes. Leg articulation is very nice with ball joint ankles, swivel and hinge knees and ball joint hips. There is no waist swivel due to the nature of the transformation and the fact the turret barrel and jet nosecone switch between this area for storage depending on what vehicle your picking. With regard to the 3 faces they are a nice touch and very cool bonus feature but don't interest me personally.
Jet mode comes across as very Alpha Fighter which in my book is only a good thing, it clips together well and the empty area some have complained about can actually be filled with the sword and then the machine gun plugged on top, the turret barrel can flip from exhaust to weapon in an instant adding play value for kids and big kids alike.
Tank mode is small but nicely formed, again if you transform it correctly it all clips together nice and tight, the tread transformation is quite nifty and another example of the level of thought and effort that gone into this toy. He freewheels nicely across the desk and the turret does pivot but at an awkward angle, does this bother me too much ? no because I've got 3 modes from 1 toy when I'm normally getting 2.
Overall Blitzwing scores 8/10 he's scoring this high due to the fact he is a design triumph for Hasbro and they have really thought about how its put together however if things like the shoulder issue really annoy you then chip off another point which will bring it down to a 7/10 and help make your mind up about a potential purchase, I don't purchase my figures to play with them anymore, its more about the design and engineering so I don't want to mislead any fans that do like to spend some time with their figures.
Hier ist die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zu Transformers Generations Voyager Springer.
Kapow Toys Reviews Transformers Generations Voyager Springer
Dribble, drool, wibble...........................um this guy is slightly.................awesome ??? As a kid watching the 86 movie Springer stood out for me as one of the coolest characters ever, he says the line ''I've got better things to do tonight die'' for goodness sake but his toy was ever so slightly naff even for the 7 year old me so fast forward 26 years and Hasbro have just dumped one of the most amazing pieces of green plastic ever on the fandom and you simply must own it. I'm not one to normally go overboard from the point of view that we're an active business selling these things and it can come across as a sales tactic but this really is a triumph, the robot mode is Roche style perfection with nice clicky joints and the ability to either wield both weapons or carry one on his back whilst using the other, the colours are spot on with the only minor gripe being that the Autobot insignia could be bigger, to top it off he is capable of almost any pose you want, its a true action figure.
On to the alt modes, armored car is great, it does somewhat resemble something G.I.Joe would use crossed with a Batmobile but in my book that a whole lot of awesome and not much fail. The sword can be stored on the bottom of the car whilst the gun becomes a rocket launcher that can pivot up and down thanks to the hinge in the actual handle, the rockets themselves are activated by pushing the mechanism forward rather than spring loaded which can sometimes be a pain for adult collectors due to the loss potential thanks to family pets, kids or misfires.
Helicopter mode is again very very nice with a great aesthetic and a nice tight transformation, the futuristic element is there as it does not resemble any current earth bound helicopters but its a necessity for a toy which is switching through 3 modes. The blades spin freely and you can mount the cannon under the nosecone ( not shown )
Overall it might be because I'm simply blown away but this guy scores 9.5/10
Nice work Hasbro, more of this please.
Hier ist die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zu Transformers Generations Legends Optimus Prime & Roller.
Kapow Toys Reviews Generations Legends Optimus & Roller
Coming in at the Commander class size scale Optimus is based on the IDW Comics design and is pretty awesome thanks to this. I've really enjoyed the last 24 hours with these little guys, far more than any Legends style figure I've owned before. The main figure is nice and solid and features a good level of articulation along with a solid transformation.
Both truck and robot mode are a success with the only grumble being about the constantly closing chest section and some clearance issues with the backpack created by moving the wheels up. Roller is basic but does his job, he doesn't really transform from truck to robot more than stand up but when it comes to the weapon mode he has a neat little folding mechanism which requires a gentle pull to change him into Optimus Primes double barreled cannon. He is too heavy for Optimus to wield comfortably in robot mode but these are primarily made for kids who will love them, the play value is huge and I think the fact you get 2 robots in the set makes it well worth picking up if your a parent or collector.
Overall Optimus & Roller score a mighty 8/10
Hier haben wir die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Dreadwing
Beast Hunters Deluxe Dreadwing
Dreadwing gets shrunk! but will it blend ? well probably yeah but we wan to know if its any good. The answer to this question is surprisingly yes, don't get me wrong I find it weird he suddenly has chicken feet and the wings of a lovely butterfly but for a deluxe it kinda works. He is a nice chunky solid toy with some good articulation including a variety of ball joints but no waist swivel. He has 2 weapons in the form of an axe and a hand held rocket launcher with 2 missiles both of which combine with one another into a larger staff type weapon which is kinda pointless but fun. Jet mode again is nice and chunky, the rocket launcher mounts on the cockpit roof and the axe can mount on the underside which does look a little naff with the chicken feet also visible from the back. Transformation wise its simple, think Generations Thunderwing and your there, this aside I really have enjoyed this toy a lot more than some of the previous Beast Hunters releases.
Overall we score Dreadwing a solid 7.5/10
Hier ist die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Transformers MP-16 Frenzy & Buzzsaw.
MP-16 Frenzy & Rumble
The Masterpiece line is coming thick and fast this year with this latest entry Frenzy and Buzzsaw! Both repaints of the existing Laserbeak and Rumble each figure is roughly the same size of the original G1 tape. Frenzy transforms into a fully articulated robot with ball joint and hinge elbows along with ball joint hips, ankles and hinge knees plus a neck swivel for head rotation. He also comes with 2 pile drivers which connect snugly on to the arms. His lasers can be stored on the back like the original or be hand held for action time
Buzzsaw is more basic in that he does not really have any articulation apart from a neck hinge but its an awesome condor mode which most importantly has the boosters as an integral part and not separate like the G1 version. Colours are very nice and pop in both tape and condor mode but like Laserbeak he can have some clearance issues when in tape mode, specifically the boosters sitting flush.
Overall another awesome entry in the MP line, they are pricey for the size so we score them 8/10
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum FansProject CA-10 T-Bone.
Fansproject CA-10 T-Bone
The 2nd part of the upcoming combiner surfaces in the shape of T-Bone. Representing Wildrider this figure uses a very similar style and transformation to the previous release, Car Crash. Standing approx 5 inches tall T-Bone has stacks of articulation including, waist swivel, ball joint neck, dual hinge and ball joint shoulders, hinge elbows & knees, ball joint hips and ball joint ankles all allowing a massive array of poses.
Transformation is complex enough so its not boring and can be fiddly so go in delicately or your liable to snap something, once in car mode you get a nice futuristic free wheeling car which can spin neatly across any desk or hard floor, as with Car Crash the gun un-clips into 2 parts storing away as the cars exhaust port.
Overall another quality release from FP, even if your not into the individual figures its worth considering the end product which is of course a Menasor-esque monster which is currently looking very tasty.
We score T-Bone 8/5 - 10
Jetzz haben wir die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Transformers Generations TG11 Ultra Magnus für euch.
TG11 Ultra Magnus
The TG series is in full swing with No 11 Ultra Magnus and his wave mates seeing the light of day. These guys are expensive, perhaps too expensive which will be the deal breaker for some fans, This is a shame seeing as they are indeed a cut above the standard release figures coming with premium paint and in Sideswipes case an extra weapon. With regard to Ultra Magnus he looks great with a shiny torso and arms blended with flat legs and Energon detailing on the wheels. The figure is nice and tight, it poses in all manner of stances thanks to the addition of a waist swivel and ball joint ankles, If I am honest the shoulders could have done with a little more articulation but it does not detract from what is a superb action figure. Weapon wise he comes with the standard blaster seen with Optimus but also a stonking great sword of bad ass which can be added onto the blaster in a Final Fantasy gunblade style.
Truck mode is nice and compact, transformation is not complex in the slightest which might upset some people but it all clips together nice and tight so you can freewheel him round without fear of it falling to pieces. Both weapons can be mounted on the vehicle with the blade being positioned on the outside like its ready for jousting practice and the gun can be mounted just over the roof to see off the bad guys.
TG11 Ultra Magnus scores 7.5 / 10 - loses a 0.5 due to value for money.
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Ripclaw.
Beast Hunters Deluxe Ripclaw
The 2nd Deluxe Size Predacon from Wave 2 of Beast Hunters hits and its a girl!!! Looking about as feminine as a dump truck Ripclaw stand approx the same height as Lazerback and that's where the similarity ends. Ripclaw has a very nice dragon mode where you can ''stiffen'' the tail up by pulling it and clipping it into the gold section which sits just below her lower back area, the tip which forms the main weapon in robot mode can then be attached and used to grab onto unsuspecting Autobots. If you just want the tail dragging on the floor you simply unclip it and the slack is returned.
Robot mode is okay but then I was never a Beast Wars fan and did score Beast Hunters Starscream higher than Smokescreen so what do I know she has decent articulation with hinged elbows, ball joint shoulders, ball joint hips and hinge knees. The head is far too static and only just looks up out of the crevice in the chest. The tail is too heavy to display over head as it makes the robot topple over. That said she is another nice addition to the line and I've picked it up specifically for the dragon and not bot mode so am completely happy.
Overall Ripclaw scores 7.5 / 10

Beast Hunters Deluxe Starscream
When pics of this guy first surfaced reaction was mixed, having him in hand makes for a nice surprise in that he's not rubbish but is he any good ? read on!
First impressions make me think Divebomb and not Starscream, apart from the head this guy is very different to the FE and RID Voyager molds and makes for a very nice figure. He is small but that is par for the course these days however the capture claw weapon is MASSIVE and does drown the figure slightly when sitting on the forearm or in hand.
Articulation is very nice, the open pose hands we have come to expect from a seeker are present and correct as is a lack of waist swivel which is slightly annoying but again this is due to the transformation and the way parts slide about and fold up. Jet more is nice but nothing special, you can have him with or without the claw, I personally prefer with as it gives him some extra bulk and does not look to obtrusive.
Again not an essential purchase if you own the FE or Voyager but a worthy purchase and a good toy, we score Starscream 8/10

Beast Hunters Wave 2 Deluxe Smokescreen
This was the one I was most excited about and in hand it doesn't quite deliver. Don't get me wrong, its a nice figure but has some issues, mainly the fact the shoulder assembly is quite fiddly and loose due to the transformation, your going to probably need to apply a little super glue or clear nail polish to get it to stiffen up a little. Rather than design this appears to be down to Hasbro's cost cutting measures which if they keep going this way won't end well.
Looks wise he is a great toy, he's got the whole door / wing thing going on along with a great face sculpt and some really nice articulation particularly in the leg area and a weapon which can be loaded with the missile on its own or with the electro-net accessory. The armour which many people said didn't look nice is actually pretty good in person, its very flexible plastic and not stiff so allows the limbs to move freely and removes any danger of damaging the item when clipping and un-clipping it.
Car mode is superb and a really nice race car aesthetic giving a real Le-Mans feel. The armour looks nice applied or left off and the accessories such as the missile launcher and gun can be mounted on the roof or the armour.
I was hoping to score this guy super high but sadly he only scrapes in at a 7.5 / 10
Hier haben wir die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Beast Hunters Deluxe Bulkhead.
Beast Hunters Wave 2 Bulkhead
Bulkhead gets shrunk! and he's not too bad for it. Coming in the now familiar Roadbuster colour scheme Bulkhead transforms from him familiar 4x4 mode to robot and back again. He comes with a MechTech style buzzsaw which is activated by pumping a little switch causing the blade to spin round fairly fast. The decoration is also fairly cool with an animal style face imprinted into the plastic. Bulkhead himself could have done with his regular face but instead comes with a Beast Hunters helmet style design like Bumblebee before him, This has made him look slightly like an old fashioned deep sea diver. Articulation wise he lacks waist swivel which is due to the transformation and his forearms could have done with a fist swivel which is sadly lacking and therefore can impact his poses.
There is a lot of good points with regard to old Bulk but probably not enough to attract new fans, if you collected Prime you may have now decided its over for you but if your into Beast Hunters then Bulkhead is a worthy purchase just not an essential one.
Overall Bulkhead scores 7/10
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Fansproject CA-09 Causality Car Crash.
Fansproject CA-09 Car Crash
Car Crash is small but perfectly formed, he stands a little taller than the Fansproject Munitioner figure and comes with a 2 piece rifle which is hand held in robot mode and broken down to store as the exhaust in car mode. Although not apparent in the pictures due to the lighting Car Crash is s nice slightly off white colour allowing his unofficial heritage to shine through. He is stacked with articulation including ball joint & hinge shoulders, waist, hip, knee and ankle swivel plus the usual tight joints you expect from a Fansproject product.
Car mode appears to be a nice take on a lambo and will be instantly recognizable to readers of the IDW comics, you almost need a little Spike Witwicky to go with him. The transformation is nice, tight and compact all clipping together without any major lines being visible, The way the legs form is very clever and confirms these guys as another step up in Fansprojects development as company. There is not a hint of how this guy transforms into a limb and nothing really obvious located on the figure to indicate how he changes either so I'm guessing we are in for a bit of a surprise come the release of the final and fifth member.
Overall Car Crash scores a silky 9/10
Hier ist die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Transformers Prime Beat Hunters Bumblebee.
Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Bumblebee.
I know its late but its taken me a while to bend my head round Beast Hunters, I originally picked up Wheeljack as I love that mold but something was stirring inside me............yep my lust for dragons was growing. As a kid there was nothing better than a big old T-Rex to make you sit up and take interest so I imagine if the 5 year old version of me had seen Beast Hunters in the store I would be going nuts, its essentially Roadblaster style vehicles Vs Dragons, DRAGONS! DO YOU SEE! this is in fact genius ( I know some of you now question my sanity and judgment but know this, I have flu and am high on Anadin and Lemsip )
Bumblebee is a heavily retooled RID Bumblebee with the new additions being spikes detailing, missile carriers on the door and a new head which is actually really good. Looking like a bot that's been pushed too far, Bumblebee is certainly tooled up for hunting beasts, he not only comes with a firing crossbow which can be mounted on his arm or roof in car mode he also comes with his 2 original blasters. There are 6 rockets in total 4 of which are stored on his rotating door mounts with the other 2 being stored on the crossbow, as well as being projectiles Bumblebee can wield them as spears which is another neat touch.
Car mode evokes a weird custard Batmobile which in itself is cool ( I think ) which freewheels across the floor or desktop with ease. Everything is carried or stored which is nice and the armored aesthetic really makes what was once a plain figure really quite interesting.
Most of us will own the original RID Bumblebee out of completion or loyalty, no one was rushing out to get him as its really rather bland, although not earth shattering the Beast Hunters version is a worthy successor and worth picking up if you have some spare cash........but I do mean spare.
Beast Hunters Bumblebee scores 7.5/10
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponosr Kapow Toys zum Headrobots Drone "The Deceptive Double Agent" Set.
Kapow Toys Reviews Headrobots Drone
Drone is the latest release from Headrobots which uses the base figure of Hunt for the Decepticons Tomahawk. The kit is very nicely presented in the usual clam shell style packaging which simply snaps open and re-seals at will. The application is nice and easy but you will need a good sharp Philips screwdriver to remove the original gold feet assembly from Tomahawk, once that's out of the way the rest of the kit needs snapping into place. All parts do fit nicely including the ski's but you might need to gently enlarge the holes inside the feet so it does not pop out due to the tightness.
Once assembled you can have Drone posed with ski's on or off, I prefer them off as its nice for the figure to actually have feet rather than the odd frame which used to form the old ones, the guns work really well and can be hand held, wing mounted or dual wielded, they also have a really nice chrome finish. Its strange getting a Headrobots kit which isn't a headmaster but it works, the only gripe I am sure I'll here is he's not blue but there's always the airbrush for that.
Vehicle mode everything stores or clips on nicely, the boxes actually plug into a gap formed by the transformation which is creative and the ski's peg onto another spot located on the top of the feet.
Overall Drone scores a mighty 8/10 - take a point off if the character isn't important to you.
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum Fanstoys FT-03 Quake Wave.
I could sum up this product in one word, Awesome.......... but then that wouldn't give you an idea as to just how good it really is would it. This is Fanstoys first foray into the market and what a way to arrive, as a fan of toys and transforming robots in general having this in hand the last few days has just been great, its the first figure I've constantly transformed from one mode to the other without hassle I might add and constantly played with, something I really haven't done for a long time. Quake stands around the same height as MP Soundwave but perhaps a smidge taller, he is very weighty to pick up due to the high quality plastic used and the die-cast located in the legs and feet. He has electrical switches on both the forearm and back of the head to independently light up whichever part you chose, eye or laser arm.
The joints are superb, tight all round with ratchets in all the right places and not a gear to grind in sight. The transformation is smooth and very clever with the legs forming the rear bulk of the gun and the handle without removing parts. The backpack becomes the gun barrel and is very well concealed in robot mode. There isn't really anything to pick on or be critical about, its been mentioned that the hose should be on the underside of the arm but I feel that might be picking for the sake of picking.
Overall this is an AMAZING toy, it proudly stands in my Masterpiece cabinet and not only doesn't look out of place but actually looks like one of the best figures in there. I know I'm gushing but this has to be held in hand to be believed, if this is what Fanstoys can do already then we are all in for a treat with their future products.
Big, chunky and value for money, Quake Wave hits a Kapow first and scores 10/

Arms Micron AM32 Wildrider
This mold is a great one, in fact its my fave mold of the whole line so far and this latest incarnation as one of the Stunticons delivers! First off I did not realise we were getting the swords with him so it was a nice surprise when I picked up the box and saw them on the back of it, they are a softer type of rubber as are his ''wings'' but not so soft they bend out of shape or kink. Joints are nice and tight and the new head sculpt is great once again missing out any sign of a nose and replacing it with a sad expression that reminds me of a clown thanks to the lines coming directly down from the eye. The colours and stickers all compliment each other and the Micron is immense simply because its an elephant................AN ELEPHANT!! that's right, Wildrider goes Gulliver style with his own mini minion who assembles easily and tightly.
Overall this is far from an essential purchase and due to the price will probably only appeal to Arms Micron collectors or fans of the character, one thing is for sure though, if you bite the bullet and pick him up your not going to be upset about it.

Arms Micron AM30 Rumble
Not just a repaint but a slight remold in the fact he has a new head which in fairness knocks spots off the Hasbro Ultron style head which never really hit the spot for me. There isn't anything else different apart from the sticker sheet, Micron and the omission of the pile drivers which is slightly annoying but not the end of the world. He is a nice toy but does have the problems of shoulder clearance where the massive roof sections clip the guns / side door panels which sit over the shoulder but it does not ruin him, he has a lot of poseability and a nice neat transformation. Micron wise it looks a lot like a grappling gun in weapon mode and an evil kitchen appliance in robot mode, neither of which is a bad thing but is it a good thing ? I don't know because I have run out of words so check out the pics and decide for yourself.

Transformers Arms Micron AM31 Frenzy
I dismissed this guy when the delivery arrived assuming I already had the RID version of Rumble but after picking up the box today it appears I was sadly mistaken. The darker blue plastic immediately makes him look better and more like Takara Frenzy, couple this with the far superior head sculpt and its already head and shoulder above the RID version apart from the lack of pile drivers, I know he comes with his sentry Micron but in this case like Wildrider he could have done with both however that might just be me being a greedy git
The stickers are easy to apply, its like Takara have been on a learning curve since the first few AM releases in that they've worked out the kinks in applying the stickers to curved sections or large complicated surface areas. The Micron is the bog standard snap kit which again has a great little slide gimmick built into it and a decent set of stickers.
Card mode is fairly bland, you don't have to put the Team Soundwave on the door or the Frenzy stickers I just fancied making a boy racer.
Over all AM Frenzy scores 7.5/10
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zum SXS A02 Cold Weapons Set für den Optimus Prime.
SXS-A02 Cold Weapons For Op
Similar to the Corbot V War Axe the Cold Weapons for Op feature a sword and shield combo made from really sturdy and durable abs plastic. The set comes in either red or blue with the blue being the more limited of the sets.
Upon opening the clam shell pack your greeted with what is surprisingly a very large sword and shield along with a tiny grey adapter section which is required if your plugging the shield into the forearm of War for Cybertron Optimus Prime. Installing the sword is very easy, the handle simply pops off and is then slotted inside the closed fist, the blade then simply clicks in place on top. The shield is even easier plugging into the hole on the forearm of either WFC or FOC Optimus & Magnus.
With both in place you can create a large number of poses with both accessories staying tightly in place, my favourite figure to display them with was def the Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime and from the pictures you can see just what an awesome if tiny action figure he really is.
Overall I would recommend the set, it is a tad pricey and could really do with being a little cheaper however if you consider the War Axe was around the £16 - £20 mark you can maybe justify it seeing as you get 2 components but that's entirely going to depend on the buyer and how far up your wants list the set comes.
We score the SXS A-02 a meaty 8/10
Hier kommt die Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zu Fall of Cybertron Data Discs Ratbat & Frenzy und Rumble & Ravage.
Kapow Toys Reviews FOC Decepticon Data Discs
These are toys, purely toys for one very important reason, they have come to earth disguised as Bakugan! for those of you not familiar with Bakugan they transform when dropped on a hard surface and that's exactly what these guys do. Coming extremely well presented each figure has its own data case which has a hollow centre allowing you to push out the disc onto said hard surface thus watching it transform. My personal faves are Ravage and Ratbat as the idea / gimmick seems to suit animals better, its nice having Rumble and Frenzy but its only the arms that move.
Not essential on their own but if you have the Voyager Soundwave or Soundblaster then you have another added dimension of fun, each Voyager can hold 3 discs in their chest and with the back lever you can push them out one by one again watching them transform as they go.
Overall we score the Decepticon Data Discs 8/10 purely based on the fun factor and reviewing purely from a toy point of view.
Hier kommen die Reviews von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys zu den Takara Tomy TG-01 Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime und TG-02 Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Jazz.
Transformers Fall of Cybertron TG-01 Optimus Prime
Once again Takara Tomy trump their counterpart in every dimension with the 1st release in their TG series, Optimus Prime! looking a lot more like the game character the figure is exactly the same build wise but where the finish is concerned he is a cut above. Featuring nice thick shiny paint applications the red detail really helps bring out the molded detail on the torso with the head appearing far more vibrant. The thighs are molded in a darker grey which leads into the lower legs which aren't painted but feature a slightly lighter more animated style blue with the purple energy detail being applied in small measure.
Articulation wise most of us now know this figure is pretty awesome but a little on the small side with the same weapon in the form of his black blaster. Is it worth the import pricing ? no, not if you have the figure already unless that is your unhappy with its lack of detail then I would say go for it.
Overall I would score TG01 a mighty 8.5/10 but if you already own the Hasbro version deduct another point due to value for money.
Transformers TG-02 Fall Of Cybertron Jazz
The 2nd release in Takara's TG Fall of Cybertron series and once again it beats out the Hasbro version hands down. Molded in a light grey plastic instead of white Jazz immediately looks better value for money, the bright white of the Hasbro release has had many complaints that it makes the figure feel cheap and nasty. Paint apps are minimal for Jazz with but what is applied is applied very well, the new blue visor really makes his head standout and the purple energy detailing added to the body also compliments and brings out all the detail molded into the figure.
Articulation wise Jazz is not as good as Optimus with no waist swivel and limited leg movement due to the static angled ankle joints, he does however come with the neat transformation which although simplistic is quite fun. The name Jazz would normally imply an essential purchase but sadly in this case not so much, its a much, much nicer figure than the Hasbro version but still suffers from slightly below par design.
Jazz score 7.5 / 10
Hier kommt die Review zum Transformers AM-29 Arms Micron Shockwave von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys
Transformers Arms Micron AM-29 Shockwave
Now this is a strange one, Takara kick off their own Generations line this very month with TG-01 & 02 FOC Optimus and Jazz yet Shockers got rammed in the Arms Micron line which has left him somewhat overlooked. Coming in a lighter shade of purple than his Hasbro compatriot he appears closer to the cartoon Shockwave which will please a lot of people. Size wise he's definitely not any bigger ( just kidding ) and suffers from some quite thin legs, I however think it works and is a very nice representation of whats seen on screen in the video game. He has a bundle of articulation in the arms and legs, the head swivels but sadly there is no waist swivel which in these days of cutting costs is understandable on a deluxe class figure. The micron is neatly put together but has a very strange alt mode, it does come across as a gun with bug legs, it is also not capable of snapping onto Shockwaves arms and entirely concealing the fist so must always be hand mounted which is a little bit of a letdown but not the end of the world.
Alt mode is improved by the bulkier Micron figure in that it helps the ship hold together very tightly, you also get some nice battle damage stickers to plaster over the bulkhead making him look nice and worn. The style of the alt mode is fully Cybertronian appearing to be a cross between a flying cannon / ship, I personally like it but know some people don't having hoped for a full on space gun.
To conclude, FOC Shockwave has been a paint to find and when people do its usually at a premium but still cheaper than this version, does a Micron add enough value to warrant a purchase ? probably not so this will only be for you if you fancy completing your AM collection, like the lighter shade of purple or just flat out cannot find the FOC version.
Overall we score Shockwave 7.5/10

Dark Energon Deluxe Wheeljack
If you want a Slicer for your collection then this is your guy, its already a really cool mold which I own as Wheeljack and Deadend, did I hesitate on a 3rd ? yeah I did, I wasn't sure about these guys until they were in hand, what swung it was the fact they are not all translucent, its mostly the arms and lower legs, everything else is pretty much regular solid plastic.
Not going over old ground too much this guy has great articulation and swords so there are 2 good points straight away, his 3rd and best point is the new colours, they really do pop especially the red eyes set against a burnt orange / gold mouth plate. Car mode is nice and sleek and fits together very well without any apparent problems. If your not a repaint fan then consider this for your classics collection, I know Botcon did Slicer but that figure is a brick, this guy is sleek and sexy with turbo handling!
Overall we score Dark Energon Wheeljack a mighty 8/10
Unser Sponsor KapowToys hat auf YouTube ein neues Videoreview online gestellt.
Dieses Mal ist Fall of Cybertron Starscream an der Reihe, viel Spaß dabei.
An underrated figure gets even better with a new black deco and massive
Arms Micron blade! Powerizer Optimus didn't set the world alight due to a
number of things, 1) Megatron looked better 2) The First Edition kicked
butt 3) He had that hideous weapon and loads of horrible grey visible
on him, but he was still a good toy that a lot of folks missed out on,
hopefully this will rectify things with Nemesis reaching a wider
audience. Coming with the obligatory sticker sheet Nemesis is primarily
black and dark charcoal grey with the chest being broken up via the red
windows and light grey border. It works very well, so well that you may
chose not to apply your stickers, I prefer them applied as they add a
little more detail and help bring out the red on his forearms more.
Articulation wise Nemesis is very capable with lots of ball joints
allowing him to twist and turn into a variety of poses, he is also very
well balanced which might come a surprise due to the large back pack
made up of the trucks side panels. The Micron is makes a very cool
weapon but not such a cool Micron looking a little like a pelican in its
robot mode but I'm not displaying him that way and the blade mode is
pure win!
Truck mode again can either have stickers on or off and it looks great,
I've taken some pics with and without so you can check it out and make
your mind up. I personally like the stickers on as it gives it that
higher level of detail and contrasts well with the black, a really nice
touch by Takara is the inclusion of 5 M.E.C.H stickers which you can
place on Nemesis to your hearts content giving him that nice link to the
TV show.
Overall he is a repaint so automatically becomes less desirable for some
but he is Nemesis Prime, a character thats always been popular, we
score him 8/10
Unser Sponsor Kapow Toys hat Reviews zu den Generations Fall of Cybertron Kickback und Air Raid gemacht.
Fall of Cybertron Fireflight
The Wave 3 repaint of Shockwave comes with a brand new chest, colours, weapons and head. Having had a name change to Air Raid along the way this guy seems to make a much better usage of the cybertronian ship alt mode than Shockwave did who suffered from complaints he was too small, Air Raid however does not share this fate as there is nothing to measure him against other than than the existing G1 toy which is tiny.
Most of you will know what to expect of the articulation on this guy, it does the job and does it well, only gripe is no waist swivel. Weapon wise he comes with a modification of Shockwaves 3 pronged cannon minus a prong this forms the base of the huge sword if you can be bothered to make it out of all 3 sections, we tried but in total honesty it didn't stay together well and looked kind of pants, they do however all stand on their own very well, the small sword being of particular awesomeness. You can mount the gun on Air Raids arms with the fist introverted or simply in his hand, the swords can be hand held only. Both the gun and large sword can be stored on Air Raids back.
Overall this is a good use of an existing mold, the weapons, head and chest have changed it enough to warrant a purchase for hardcore fans or those who do not own Shockwave, we score Air Raid - 8/10
Fall Of Cybertron Kickback
Now this guy is definitely the star of the show along with Starscream. The only other brand new mold in Wave 3 is one of the Dinobots main foes from the FOC video game. He comes with a massive weapon in the form of an energon crossbow which which shoots the disc via a grey switch on top, the purple blades can be detached to become either handheld blades or part of Kickbacks alt mode.
Articulation is very good, the arms have a lot of swivel and ball joints in them and the legs the same, he has no waist swivel but does have ball jointed ankles allowing a lot of cool stances. The panels on his chest and shoulders can get in the way if I'm honest but its not enough to annoy, his forearms can be slid up or down to form blades and as you can see from the pics he looks really good either way.
Alt mode was looking a but bland from the stock images but once in hand its actually really big and hold together well, he even has a bug shell formed by the arms which I myself wasn't aware of before having it in hand.
Kickback is nice addition to the line, he does look like he belongs in the Prime universe slightly more than the FOC one but thats not a bad thing.
Overall Kickback scores 9/10
Unser Sponsor Kapow Toys hat neue Reviews online gestellt.
Dieses Mal handelt es sich um drei Fall of Cybertron Figuren :
Ultra Magnus
Sideswipe und
Starscream.
Die wollten wir Euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten.
First off sorry for the pics, we've yet to get a good dark back drop so some of these are quite washed out, on to the figure! Ultra Magnus is a repaint of the Wave 1 Deluxe Optimus Prime figure and comes with an additional weapon in the form a 3 piece sword which can be held in hand or connected to the existing gun to form a gun blade style weapon which is huge!
There isn't much new about the figure itself apart from a new head and paint job which seems to work really well in depicting Magnus, he just looks the part with the way the sections separate between blue and white with my only complaint being the white is extremely bright and can look a little cheap. The articulation and transformation are really nice making him capable of a range of poses. The sword can also be carried on his back making him look extra cool whilst holding his rifle and mounted on the side of him whilst in vehicle mode so he can joust with the Knights of Cybertron ???
For a repaint Magnus is pretty darn good so we're scoring him 8/10
Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Sideswipe
Sideswipe is the repaint of Wave 1 Jazz and appears to knock spots off his predecessor. Coming with a remolded head, bonnet and uber massive gun Sideswipe is fun to play with if simple to transform. The new paint job seems to add the detail missing from poor Jazz who was just too bland due to all the white plastic. His new head is also more in proportion and a very good representation of the G1 fave.
Articulation wise Sideswipe is adequate, he his arms are good with a nice range of motion, the legs are okay being limited by the way they are molded so as to tuck away in car mode, he also lacks a waist swivel. The weapon is a welcome addition to the figure and as already stated huge, it doesn't do much other than have the barrel extend and retract with a tug or a push, it can be mounted on his sides in vehicle mode or be hand or forearm mounted in robot mode.
A nice repaint of a previously poor figure that scores 7/10
Kapow Toys Reviews Transformers Fall Of Cybertron Starscream
Starscream has arrived and he is pretty darn good! I'm not a fan of the original Classics Seeker hating the way the wings had to fold down every time you wanted to pose the arms in fashion. This guy is a good size with chunky solid joints and a nice aesthetic bringing the game character to life in accurate fashion.
Jet mode is quite a simple deal but does the job well, the gattling guns can be mounted underneath the wing giving him a mass of fire power, they even have rotating barrels. In robot mode you get some really nice articulated arms and legs but he is sadly missing a waist swivel. The guns can either be hand held or mounted on the rear of the forearm, they can also be combined to form a massive dual cannon which can be held simultaneously in both hands, they do look a little bland when split in half due to the molded inside section but its a minor gripe.
Starscream fits in with the FOC line extremely well and could even make the jump to your Classics / Generations collection as IDW Starscream ( if your not a stickler for accuracy that is )
Overall we score this newest rendition of a fan fave 9/10 awesome sauce.

Great review and pretty much stated what was expected from Grind Rod
Toyworld indeed did great with Hegemon and personally i´m pretty excited seeing more about the roumored Combiner Mode for the Throttle Bots.

Toyworld TW-T01
I love Throttlebots, just not the toys that we got in the 80's, I always felt they utterly sucked compared to the amazing designs I was seeing in the Marvel UK comic and the cartoon so when I first saw this guy I got quite excited and he does not let the side down. Toyworld crashed on to the scene with Hegemon, a figure many were unsure of but in the end turned out to be really quite awesome and one of the best G1 style Megatron figures we've had so how does Grind Rod hold up ? very well in all honesty, the build quality is better with a fantastic grade of plastic being used and super tight joints all over, it feels solid in hand and above all professional. The outer packaging itself is great, really looking the part with a display window and lots of superb graphics including a teaser for the second release Aurora.
Grind Rod comes in jeep mode and free wheels across any surface without problems, the panels all line up and stay tight throughout any handling, upon changing to robot mode you find just how well made he is with nice tight ball joints and panels easily clicking out and into place. As a figure he is very good looking and capable of a lot of movement including that all important but often missed out waist swivel. If there is a criticism its that the gun could have done with a longer handle to prevent a small clearance issue with the forearm panels however its a minor complaint which takes nothing away from a figure which will slot in with your Classics collection putting some of the official efforts to shame.
Keep it up Toyworld this is great stuff!
We score Grind Rod 8/10 - add an extra point if your a Throttlebot fan.
Hier kommt die Review zum TFC Toys Photron von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys.
TFC Toys Photron
Its always nice when you get a toy that your not expecting a lot from and it surprises you, I'd heard mediocre things about Photron but am glad to say its a good set of figures with some nice touches, sure its got a few flaws but they are outweighed by the good. First up its super solid construction, the quality of the plastic is excellent and dare I say it outshines a few of the recent official releases from the West. Individual figure wise the two smaller guys Hi-Reso and AE lock are just a little taller than scout class with the big guy Optic Zoom being a little taller than a deluxe, he is also extremely chunky and feels quality in hand.
Articulation wise Hi-Reso and AE Lock are great, there isn't much you can't do with them thanks to ball joints nearly everywhere and waist swivels, Optic Zoom is also very articulated but suffers somewhat from being a little back heavy thanks to the kibble created by the folded up flaps and his shoulders could have done with being on a ball joint rather than hinge and swivel, that aside he is still very good and a lot better than expected.
Camera mode is superb, I walked round with it in hand today at the warehouse and one person assumed I had an actual camera with the other having to think about it, the lens is a lot of fun in that it un-clips either side then extending to create the illusion of a zoom, the lens also glows thanks to a little on / off switch uncovered when the lens is extended.
I like to get to the point during reviews and hope I have with this one, the aesthetic isn't going to be for everyone as making the connection with Reflector is difficult, there is also the back kibble on Optic Zoom which will present as a problem for some fans however if you simply like transforming toys then Photron is well worth picking up, the set has a lot to offer.
Overall he scores 7.5/10
If your in the UK and Europe you can pick up Photron now from Kapow Toys
Unser Sponsor Kapow Toys hat eine Review zum iGear MW-03 Hench gemacht.
iGear MW-03 Hench
Being a big Brawn fan this interested me from the very first teaser image so getting it in hand I had a lot of expectation which has been met. When iGear announced the price and size increase on the Mini Warriors fan reaction was mixed, some people were unhappy whilst others were open minded and welcomed it, for me its a good thing, Hench feels solid and chunky in both robot and vehicle mode and worth the money, sure its more than double the cost of a domestic deluxe but its an independent production so half expected.
The overall quality of Hench is very good, the build is strong and the plastic feels very durable, you feel you could actually give this to a child and it would survive intact without any damage. The majority of the joints are on a ball which gives him a good level of poseability, they also pop off if too much pressure is applied when transforming to prevent damage. As a bonus the head can rotate revealing a G1 style face ( not pictured ).
If I had any gripes at all it would be he can become slightly unbalanced when standing and that the head is awkward to rotate but that nitpicking, its an amazing rendition of a character who along with Ironhide and Ratchet has gone sorely unloved on the toy front over the years.
Unser Sponsor Kapow Toys hat eine Review zum Transformers Prime AM20 Arms Micron Ironhide gemacht.
Transformers AM20 Ironhide
Its still a weird one that this guy got released in green as Sgt Kup here in the UK and US but Takara have sorted it with this rather fetching red repaint. Reaction to Kup was mixed with some people flat out not liking him , I was one of the people quite taken with him though so this review will have a positive spin apart from one thing, that darn bonnet that hangs off his back in robot mode like a shelf, why ? I no understand zis ? anyway easily remedied by clipping it off and snapping it back into place in reverse just like in the picture.
The robot mode does have its issues such as shoulder pads which can slightly get in the way of shoulder movement and no waist swivel, this aside he is quite articulated and is capable of a lot of poses which is what you want from an action figure. His Micron is quite nifty is slightly simple in cannon mode, he reminds me of a builder with his little hard hat style head and claws. Mounting the Micron to Ironides arm suffers the same problems as Kups blaster in that its a slightly loose fit, hand held however is not a problem. His colours are nice and really pop when combined with the stickers, my only gripe is the blue could have stood out a bit more on the chest like in the official promo images.
Overall its a nice figure, not the best but far away from being the worst.
Ironhide scores 7/10 ( he straight up loses 1 point for that bonnet )
Hier haben wir die Review zum Perfect Effect PE-12 AFX Assault Force X von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys.
Perfect Effect Assault Force X
Assault Force X is made up of Vanguard, Cannonier and Sniper which all combine to form the deadliest of weapons!..........a camera!! joking aside every TF fan loves a transforming camera for one reason and that's G1 Reflector. Having already seen release as the PE11 Scouting Force X this set is heavily remolded with new heads, chest and paint jobs aping the toy version of G1 Reflector and man does it do a great job. Each figure stands approx 2-1/2 inches tall with a great amount of detail and paint work surpassing that of current official releases. Articulation is good and they are armed to the teeth with the familiar weapons and accessories seen in the previous set.
The transformation is a simple one with each figure folding into a square like the original then the accessories becoming the flash cube, lens, base and stand, individual figure articulation is fantastic with each member capable of a variety of poses and stances via hip, knee, elbow, shoulder, neck, waist and ankle movement making for an immense package of awesome in mini size.
Should you get this ? well if you haven't got the PE-11 I'd say yes, go for it, you won't be annoyed with yourself in the slightest, in fact you might feel a little pleased with yourself, all I would say is consider it a little longer if you own the previous mold as with every repaint and remold you have to ask yourself do I need it twice.
Assault Force X scores stabby 8/10
Jetzt zeigen wir euch die Toy Reviews zu Transformers Prime Deluxe Rumble, Sargent Kup und Voyager Dreadwing von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys.
Transformers Prime Deluxe Rumble
Wave 5 brings us 2 new characters in the form of Sgt Kup and Rumble. Apart from being blue and having blasters shaped like pile drivers that appears to be where the similarity between Prime Rumble and G1 Rumble finishes and he's all the better for it. Transforming from a quite boring compact car to robot he follows suit with the other Prime deluxe in being a little smaller than we've been used to over the years but it doesn't take away from the fact he is an awesome little figure. He looks the business in robot mode with very little ''kibble'' apart from the two roof halves which sit on his shoulders and in our opinion beef him up, the side panels of the car are cleverly hidden over his shoulder with little rocket launchers molded into the inside giving them a function rather than just having them sit there. His articulation is very good enabling him to strike all kinds of action poses with the only area being a little restricted the shoulders, this is down to the rocket launcher panels tilting forward but its not the end of the world and doesn't do enough to take away from what is a very original and very nice figure.
Overall we score Rumble 9/10 another great entry in whats shaping up to be the best Transformers line in some time.
Transformers Prime Sgt Kup
Ever since Generations Kup has been a Sgt, enjoying his promotion he now decides he must also look like Ironhide which hasn't gone too well with Ironhides agents or Mrs Kup. I'm going to point out the faults first which are the big hinge / bonnet that hangs over his upper back in robot mode and the fact the cannons can be loose when plugged into the forearms, apart from that this guy is fantastic! packed full of articulation his proportions make him not only look great but also capable of an array of poses. There is no doubting he could have done with a remolded head as Kup but just imagine how cool this figure is going to be in red??? Truck mode is small but perfectly formed, the transformation is easy with the only gripe being a gap in the trailer section which you can see through, will kids care about this ? no so its not a problem as far as we can see.
Overall we score Kup 8/10 ( add another point if you prefer him in green )

Unser Sponsor Kapow ToysKapow Toys hat eine Review zu Transformers Generations Asia Exclusive Cliffjumper online gestellt. Diese wollen wir euch nicht vorenthalten.
Transformers Generations Cliffjumper ( Asia Exclusive )
Being totally honest, when these were announced I was totally against it and thought it was a lame idea, then something happened, I got it in hand!
Being a strange chap and not being a fan of the First Edition Cliffjumper figure and preferring the RID version I've readily accepted this guy on his own and don't look at it as an existing toy from another line with a new head although I can totally understand why some of you might. The good things about this figure are the fact it does finally give us a Generations Cliffjumper with good articulation and some weapons, the Classics version never cut it for me and although its improved by the Beelzeboss head (if you managed to get it) you can't beat a Hasbro original.
The alt mode is the standard muscle car with horns we all already know, its a nice smooth car without a mass of sticky out panels or obvious transformation points unless you turn it upside down, kids will love this guy simply because he has a set of bull horns on the bonnet and freewheels nicely on smooth surfaces. Colour wise it is a different shade form the FE going a whole lot darker and more G1 Cliffjumper which is a nice bonus and shows that they didn't just slap new heads on unused figures.
Robot mode is again is very nice, he is short but that's not a problem seeing as he is a minibot but again some people might feel a little short changed. The transformation is very nice and complex enough it takes some effort but not crazy enough you or your kids will be pulling your hair out, the triple cannons are also very easy to flip in and out of the forearms as long as you remember to twist the hands into place before pushing them in. Articulation is great, the arms are highly articulated and capable of mostly everything you want an action figure to do, the legs are okay but due to their narrowness he can sometimes be a pain to stand but that's a minor gripe when you can simply transform him into a car if you want it on display.
Over all Cliffjumper scores a healthy 8/10 , some of you def won't agree but he has really grown on me and will grab a spot in my collection over the 2006 Classics version.

Hier haben wir die Toy Review zu Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys. Wir wünschen viel Spaß.
Kapow Toys Reviews FOC Optimus Prime
First off yes they have shrunk but I present this argument, the world economy is in the toilet, plastic prices have risen due to the high cost of oil and the cost of living has gone through the roof, something had to give and it appears to be about a quarter of the figure but! they are still roughly the same size as TF Prime figures and DOTM so this its not something new they have sprung on us. In these tough times even the big boys have to protect themselves, chocolate bars have shrunk, there are less potato chips in a bag yet the prices rise, the same rule applies to all no matter how much we dislike it.
On to the toy, some people don't like this design, I love it, I think its a great little action figure if a little weird in the proportions. The transformation is quite basic, something we've seen adopted since DOTM no doubt to entice actual kids back into the hobby after ROTF gate where even parents were stumped using the instructions. He is capable of a lot of poses and is just what you would want from a toy in that he is a pure action figure, two arms, two legs and a gun.
Versus the original there is probably no contest but if you take the rose tinted glasses off and be honest WFC Optimus has his critiques some of which were 1) The Transformation was too hard 2) The legs are a little short 3) His range of motion is not great. Is he bigger and better value? yes of course but if you have only just decided which one to plump for get in there now before prices rise.
The price point will put some off but at the end of the day that's not going to change even if the world does get a little better, once prices rise the very rarely come down, is he worth it ? yes, more so if your a G1 collector seeing as the only things currently on offer are Prime figures or the residual movie toys. What I will add though is this would have totally ruled if it was a Voyager class figure.
Overall Optimus scores 8/10
Hier kommt ein Review von Kapow Toys zu Transformers Prime AM-10 Arms Micron Voyager Bulkhead. Viel Spaß damit!
Transformers Prime AM-10 Bulkhead
When the first images of the RID Bulkhead figure surfaced you could hear the cries ring out across the known universe however shortly after his release people realised he was actually a pretty awesome little dude and worthy of their time, the Arms Micron version is worthy of even more of your time simply because he has an obese wrecking ball buddy along for the ride.
Coming in a different shade of green to the RID version Bulkhead needs his stickers applied ala all Micron figures, now you will either hate this or find it transports you back to those nostalgic 80's when you plastered not only your transformer figure with decals but all the box, inner foam and anything else you could get your hands on. The Micron himself comes on a sprue and is actually all round good fun to assemble, its simple click clunk stuff and does not require any real skill........................hence how I managed to put it together.
Once assembled the Micron transforms into a wrecking ball or blaster both of which are pretty awesome, the 3rd mode however which is supposed to be the robot comes across as robo jabba which I'm lovin I do however expect some people will not. Bulkheads robot mode is full of articulation, its been said by some he is too thin and somewhat resembles a himself prior to the pie abuse, I have to disagree and say his proportions are really good unless your looking side on.
Vehicle mode is the bog standard toon 4x4 and its done well, you can see a little kibble poking out from underneath but nothing that will worry the sheep, the stickers will need to be applied otherwise you will end up with no windows and a very bland looking green car resembling something akin to the Little Tykes Super Coupe! The micron can be mounted on top of the roof making it look like a P.A system used for local elections or on the rear of the truck forming what looks like a booster engine.
Overall Bulkhead scores a bulky 8/10 and over all awesome bot!
Hier haben wir ein neues Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys.
Dieses Mal wird TransFormers Prime Shadow Arma Micron Gora rezensiert.
TransFormers Prime Shadow Arms Micron Gora
Microns are awesome, they were the saving grace of Armada and now Takara have put them with the already amaze balls Prime line. This little guy is normally Megatrons cohort but has been redone in see through black plastic for a Japanese store exclusive campaign. Transforming from what fans have come to call a Lugnut style robot mode, Gora forms a fusion cannon style weapon with 3 pegs molded into it for attachment to most Micron Arms figures, if your attaching him to Megatron you either need to use the peg hole for shoulder mounting, the flip down handle for hand held or the not great indent to mount it to his forearm. Another use for Gora and the best in my opinion is as a fusion cannon for the RID Voyager Megatron, as you can see from the images it is far more in proportion than his Poweriser weapon and looks a lot more like an actual weapon Megatron would use.
Overall we score Gora 7/10 he's great if combined with an existing figure but just okay if bought and used on his own.
Hier kommt die Review zu Transformers Prime Cyberverse Ironhide von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys. Viel Spasß!
Transformers Prime Cyberverse Ironhide
Throughout the ages Ironhide has always been a fan fave but never really gotten the toy love he deserves, well fear not because the Cyberverse figure delivers! As a line Prime has excelled in the Cyberverse category putting out some superb figures which are very faithful to their show counterparts and packed full of articulation, Ironhide is no exception. Featuring a really nice solid earth mode pickup truck you can mount his cannons on the flat bed area to form boosters and free wheel him on most surfaces with a flick of the wrist.
Robot mode is where the real fun is at, standing approx 3-3/4 inches tall Ironhide features multiple point of articulation enabling a variety of poses, his cannons can be mounted in his hands or on the forearm. He has a nice amount of detailing and paint along with a really cool head sculpt which appears to show him grinning.
Overall Ironhide scores a mighty 8/10

Hier kommen gleich zwei neue Toy Reviews von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys. Diesmal sehen wir Transformers Prime RID Deluxe Dead End und Shadow Strike Bumblebee. Viel Spaß
Dead End: This guy is the star of Wave 4 without a doubt, his bio makes him sound like a loose cannon and his face screams ''I'm gonna eat cha!'' so whats not to love!
A repaint of the already awesome Wheeljack figure, Dead End looked quite garish in his promo pics and he was met with a kind of ''meh'' feeling from a lot of fans, this my friends is incorrect! he is really quite awesome, the articulation is amaze balls, his paint job is def seafront chav in a Vauxhall Corsa but it works I tell you, WORKS!
There is no point going into too much gushing detail as most people who are into Prime will already have WJ so the thing that will swing it is the head which you can check out via our pics above.
We score tropical fruit Dead End a mighty 9/10
Shadow Strike Bumblebee: Be warned, I'm one of them...............yes, a Bumblebee lover! there I said it! now read my gush or just simply look at the pictures
Shadow Strike Bumblebee is another nice surprise from Wave 4 in that he improves on the original, the grey finish just makes him look far more detailed than the original which was sadly a little bland. He still comes with his 2 x clip on blasters which have flip reversed like Blazing Squad into yellow instead of grey. The head also has a nice amount of grey on it forming a kind of chin strap and ear phones again making Bumble look a lot nicer.
Car mode comes off in person like a slight gun metal / graphite colour and is reminiscent of a street racer. The blasters as expected still clip on the bonnet.
Again most will own the original already...........or not and have been waiting so I recommend out of the 2 you grab this guy on release if you want a Bee in your Prime collection.
Shadow Strike scores 8/10
Not just you alone, i also think they should have included the sniper rifle, could even have skipped the big sword for it. Then he would have been more perfect. But what can you do except looking for a spare one of Blurr´s rifle.
This years TFCC exclusives were the best so far, at least for me and of course including Punch-Counterpunch.
Keep up the nice work on reviews and those cool pictures

Transformers Collectors Club Shattered Glass Drift
Drift is an enigma, fans either seem to love him or hate as a character, this however is a toy and therefore awesome without question, it is a robot ninja who also now has guns!!! what is not to love ? well not a lot really, I love the original Drift figure and found the only downside to him being the dull off white colour's which have been fixed by the club making him a lovely Deadpool shade of red. He now also comes with what were Blurr's pistols ( they do not fit into the holsters ) as well as his daggers and massive sword. The articulation is very good, his shoulder pads do get in the way some times but its a minor niggle and nothing that detracts from the finished article, the only thing which could have made him even better would have been the sniper rifle but that's just me being a greedy git
Overall Driftpool Scores 9.5/10 - knock off a point if you hate Drift.
Transformers Prime Cyberverse Star Hammer & Wheeljack
Hasbro continue the goodness with the Cyberverse Star Hammer and Wheeljack, Cyberverse has always been fun but just recently with the Prime line they have been excelling. Kids will love this, its great value at under £20 and you get not only a transforming figure in the shape of Wheeljack but also a vehicle / playset. The ship itself has electronic light features via an attachment shaped like a laser, it can attach itself to Cyberverse weapons and Commander size figures making them glow in the process. There is an opening cockpit in which the figure can sit and 2 sets of handle bars which allow other figures to man the firing rocket launchers when the wings are deployed.
Overall I've got to score this at least a 9/10 - collectors and kids will love it!
Hier haben wir die Review von Kapow Toys zum TFCC Over-Run Exklusiv. Viel Spaß!
Transformers Collectors Club Over-Run
Famous for vandalizing the Statue of Liberty Over Run and his bro are known to G1 fans as the Battle Chargers and if we're honest had a couple of pretty lame toys back in the 80's but the Transformers Collectors Club have come their rescue and transformed them into a chunky rocket launcher wielding fully articulated awesomeness!
Available only if your a member of the club Over Run comes in a really well thought out presentation box which also includes a space for his bro. The artwork is superb and the construction super sturdy like all club boxes. The figure itself uses the Generations Wheeljack / RTS Tracks body and works very well, he can rock the shoulder mounted missile look or with a little flip of the doors and rear trunk you can fan mode him up into an even more G1 style robot. Articulation is good with the only minor complaint being the roof gets in the way of the waist swivel but these guys are originally designed for 5 year old's so I would be a bit harsh and silly to dock points or even moan about it.
Car mode for me is what really impresses in that the paint job is spot on, the large Decepticon symbol on the hood really finishes off the amazing black and red detailing, bring that together with a nicely painted front splitter and head lights and your on to a winner.
Finding this guy is not easy unless your willing to drop a fair chunk of change but if your a modern day G1 fan I would say he is worth it, unlikely to ever see a mass release he is sure to hold his value.
Great review of an even greater looking figure for Kick-Over. The Jazz mold was my favorite of 2011 and well worth waiting for since 2006 when Classics started. And Kick-Over is right behind him but i doubt that he beats Stepper. At least not in choice of colors, stepper looks so awesome in all that black and white with gold details. But maybe Kick-Over wins the price for the most expensive version over time.

Botcon 2012 Timelines Kick-Over
First off what a great mold to repaint, the Jazz figure has always been regarded as one of the best of recent years and Kick-Over kicks it up another notch. The paint job for this guy is truly inspired, it looks amazing and improves the figure no end placing it in my opinion at the top of the pile above, Jazz, Stepper and Treadshot.
The head sculpt is detailed and faithful to the G1 original, his rifle also a nice homage coming in the neon orange. Articulation wise he is fantastic as most already know, packed full of movement and joints he is capable of almost any pose going with nearly zero hindrance from the back panels or doors. The speakers are still intact and located inside the door pods, they an be flipped out for an impromptu party of attached to the gun barrel to make a bigger weapon.
Car mode has always been nice if uninspired, the difference with Kick-Over is the paint once again improves in every aspect, the front end pops that bit more thanks to the red lights contrasting with the black, orange and silver and the rims come with a silver finish instead of the regular black.
Overall Kick-Over scores 10/10 for me this is a near perfect figure and a continues the trend of attendee figures being some of the best in show.
Hier ist die nächste Review von Kapow Toys. Diesmal ist sie über den Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Optimus Prime. Wir wünschen viel Spaß.
Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Optimus Prime
Botcon take a bow, you have taken an ordinary figure and spruced it up into something awesome. When RTS Prime was released he kinda polarized opinion with people either liking him or hating him, with a swift change up in paint and an awesome deco I can firmly say this is now one of my fave figures, it looks awesome. First up he is small, but he's perfectly formed the head looks a lot more menacing with those red eyes and the new motto of '' I shall stand, the rest shall fall'' emblazoned on each side of the bonnet sends out the message there will be no prisoners ( on my toy shelf anyway )
Articulation wise most people are familiar with him but in case your not he has a good level with some part hindered by the bulky shoulders and back but nothing major, the transformation into truck can be fiddly but after a few goes you do get the hang of it fairly quickly.
Shame what Takara has done with AM Ratchet, pure white with crappy stickers and the exclusion of the Hasbro Blade weapons is the biggest let down on him. Sadly the Micron does not cover them, he is way too big to fit and look cool.
The SG Junkions have very nice colors but i never liked this mold all that much. But they would be nice for building a junkion army if they were not so expensive as BotCon figures usually are.
Looking foreward on MakeToys Set C and the complete Giant, love the yellow and all the details on those figures.

Von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys kommt hier eine Review zu Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Junkions. Sind tolle Bilder also viel Spaß damit!
Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Junkons:
Wreck Gar goes bad! or should that be worse as the Shattered Glass universe returns to Botcon 2012. This 3 pack is possibly my fave figure from the convention and thats because the figures are based on an awesome mold, that coupled with some fantastic bios ( which I won't ruin here ) make them stand out. The new colour scheme makes you instantly think Insecticon whilst the head sculpts really pop thanks to the new black, yellow and silver paint job. Articulation wise most fans know the junkion mold is great, armed with an axe which can be worn on their back the only thing that could make it better would be a pistol. Bike mode is a very cool scale giving other Generations figures a chance to ride the Junkions and the kick stand allows collectors to display them free standing in bike mode.
Overall I'd score the SG Junkions 9/10 AWESOME!

I don´t like the way it looks in altmode. Edges at the hood close to the windshield look crunched, torn and not smooth. Ich mag diese unglatten Kanten im Altmode nicht. Bei der Motorhaube, nahe der Windschutzscheide sehen die so angefressen aus irgendwie.

Not to keen on that version. Why did the had mold the ports in the same color as the Micron's? They did not on Optimus, Bumblebee or Soundwave.

Hier ist von Kapow Toys die Review mit Bildern zu Takaratomy Transformers Prime AM-04 Ratchet.
Transformers Prime AM-04 Ratchet with Arms Micron:
I have had this guy for a few weeks and was really not looking forward to putting the stickers on him, I am however totally glad I did, he looks pretty wicked when finished. Sure its a bit of a hassle but I prefer the end result to my RID Ratchet, the deeper red is more like the show and there is a lot more detail on the ambulance. Articulation wise Ratchet is fantastic with shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, hip and foot joints and a waist swivel. The arms Micron partner reminds me a lot of the Final Fantasy gunblades which is a good thing and it can be mounted on the side of Ratchets forearm or simply in his hand, its robot mode however is a little funky when compared to say Bumblebees Micron and not really my cup of tea.
Overall Ratchet scores 8/10

Would prefer to see ol' King Grimmy to put up more vid reviews, but what can you do?
And knowing that Crane's foot is actually the head of Giant, I always look at it like it's a goddamn car accident. Don't like it at all.

Mit einen großen Dank an Kapow Toys haben wir zu Maketoys Giant Set B Crane und Dump Truck weitere Bilder und ein Review in englisch für euch!
Maketoys Giant Set B Crane & Dump Truck:
Set B has arrived and its better than set A! The first thing you notice about these guys is how much bigger they are compared to the Bulldozer and Excavator figures, they also weigh a lot more.
Firt up Dump Truck, in vehicle mode he picks up like a little plastic brick and looks very nice. The rear bucket is not very deep and is used to store the pile driver weapons, you can also see a the leg connectors hanging out of the back which does not bother me but may annoy some. Upon transforming him you will be met with how tight the front panels of the Dump Truck are so use a lot of care when moving them, there have been a lot of reports of them snapping due to too much pressure being applied so if in doubt check the Maketoys website for the easy fix. Once in robot mode he is a beast of a bot with huge hulking arms and fists, he can also be posed easily thanks to ball jointed feet. You have a choice of weapons being able to pick from his bog standard rifle to the 2 pile drivers which are worn behind his upper arm.
Next up Crane, this guy is a first in that he has a head for a foot! that's right, the lump on the front of his right foot is the Giants head and its stored away pretty well. Vehicle mode is nice and about as good as a mobile crane can get, the arm extends but the hook does not swing which I think would have been a nice touch. The detailing is good reminding me a lot of the old Caterpillar models of old. In robot mode we modded the crane arm simply by removing the screw, this gives it a better range of motion and means he doesn't have to carry it in front of him all the time like a rifle. Something that surprised me was the fact that Crane is not a lot smaller than the TFC Toys Dr Crank figure.
Combined with my existing set A this has given me a glimpse of the completed figure and it is going to be great, its a nice tight package and will look great next to the official Transformers figures of new such as Generations, Classics and Universe.
